TERMS OF SERVICE
This is pretty meaty.By commissioning me, you are agreeing to the entirety of this Terms of Service whether you have read it or not.The Terms of Service are subjected to change and update at any point, so be sure to always check this page before commissioning me!Contact
For non-commercial work, please send all commission inquiries via the Google Form I provide. For commercial work, you can email me directly at [email protected] and we will discuss your project personally.Payment
Once I’ve gotten all the details about your commission, have stated the price for it, and agreed to work on it, you must pay the full price (In USD or CAD) upfront and through paypal. I will ask for your email address that you use for paypal and send you a paypal invoice accordingly. I cannot work on your commission until I am paid in full. I do not accept any other platforms for payment unless stated otherwise. If I’m unable to complete your commission for whatever reason (excluding harassment), I will refund you in full.
All sales are final once payment has been received.Process + Deadlines
I go through commissions in a first-pay-first-serve basis. I will let you know if you are behind other people on my commissions list and notify you if there has been a delay.
The average time it takes to complete a commission is a week, but varies depending on the type of commission. If you need the commission done within a certain frame of time, please let me know and I’ll work towards getting it done by then (if you need your commission completed in less than a week, a small fee will be applied). If you have not been notified about a delay and it has been 3 weeks since you have commissioned me, you can send me an email to remind me or ask how it is coming along.
Do not constantly send me emails about reminders or updates, it will slow my process down. If you harass me with emails and/or bad behavior I have the right to shut down the commission and refund you partially or full depending on how far I have gotten on the commission.Completion
When I’m done with your commission I will send you an email with the file of your piece. If it is a large file, I’ll send you a resized version along with the full image. I typically post the commission piece to my social media platforms unless you state otherwise. The one I post online will have a watermark, the one I send to you will not. Keep that in mind.
Keep the file somewhere safe. I am not responsible for any deleted or missing commissions and am not obligated to refund or replace them. You’re allowed to ask me for another copy of the file if you happen to lose it but if I no longer have the piece on my computer then there is sadly nothing I can do.Tips + Revisions
If you are very happy with your purchase, I would love a tip! If you’re a recurring customer who tips I’m most likely going to work extra hard for you.
Because touch-ups will cost me more time to do, revisions will cost money (unless I state otherwise) and the amount will vary depending on how big the revision is. This is why it’s important to tell me what you would like to see in your commission ahead of time. If the revision is due to me incorrectly illustrating something that you clearly described in your email (such as a mis-colour or wrong detail on the character). I will fix it for you for free.Use of Artwork
If you want to showcase the artwork I created for you online, I suggest using the one I post on my social media platforms because it has the watermark already on it.
-DO NOT claim that anyone else created the artwork except for me. I must be credited as the artist for the piece.
-DO NOT attempt to sell my artwork or use my artwork for any commercial purposes unless you have my proven consent and signed agreement BEFORE the completion of the artwork.
If you edit the artwork for any reason in any manner, I own the rights to any edited version of my artwork you create. This is to allow folks to have fun editing my artwork for forum signatures or other fun personal uses while also preventing people from just editing my artwork and trying to sell the edited version as their own.
If you are unsure that you’re using my artwork in ways that I allow, email me and I’ll let you know if that is okay to do.
I retain the copyright to all work I create - all rights reserved. I am allowed to sell prints, create merchandise, and showcase the artwork however I wish unless you purchase the rights from me or you request the artwork as a private commission.
